Community Appreciation Day
Fernie Alpine Resort will say “Thank You” to local communities by offering a FREE day of skiing and riding to the residents of Fernie, Elko, Elkford, Jaffray, Sparwood and all residents living in the Elk Valley as part of the Community Appreciation Day on December 9.

A fundraising BBQ will be held with all proceeds going towards F.I.R.E (Fernie Inspire The Race To Empower Society) Adaptive Ski Program. F.I.R.E is a brand new program in Fernie designed to improve the lives of disabled individuals by increasing their activity through sit skiing. F.I.R.E will be onsite community day to talk about their program and give the public more information on how to get involved! In the meantime, check out their website at http://bethefire.yolasite.com/. A huge thanks to our BBQ partners: Sysco, Cardinal, Lesters, Heinz and Saputo for their support!

Please note that Photo ID and proof of local residency (drivers license, pay stub etc) are needed to receive the lift ticket. Tickets are only valid on December 9th and NO snow checks will be issued on any complimentary tickets. Complimentary tickets are available to Elk Valley Residents only...Cranbrook residents are welcome to enjoy Community Day at Kimberley Alpine Resort on December 16th.
