Crafty Kids
FREE craft night for kids ages 6-12. Wednesdays from 6:00pm-8:00pm @ Slopeside Coffee Shop.
Kids Can Cook!
A fun, instructional and interactive night with hands-on simple cooking for kids aged 6-12. Children have the opportunity to eat what they make! Thursdays from 5:30pm-8:00pm @ Slopeside Coffee Shop - $18 + gst per child.
Kids Activity Night
FREE activity night for kids ages 6-12. Activity stations will change each week – check out our schedule at Guest Services! Fridays from 6:00pm-8:00pm @ Slopeside Coffee Shop.
Movie Mania
FREE family movie night for all! Sit back in our comfortable café and enjoy a great family flick (with free popcorn of course). Saturdays from 6:00pm-8:00pm @ Slopeside Coffee Shop.
Cowboy Camp Sleigh Rides
A sleigh ride experience for the whole family! Enjoy an evening sleighride followed by story telling of Fernie Legends around the campfire (complete with hot chocolate and roasted marshmallows!). Saturdays from 7:00pm-8:00pm. Departs from the Griz Inn. $20 + gst per person. Operates from December to mid March.
Winter Survival Skills
FREE educational program for all ages! Learn basic winter wilderness survival skills in this interactive and educational program. Available on Monday & Tuesday afternoons.
Geocaching
Experience our high-tech treasure hunt! This activity is FREE for guests who have their own GPS - just log on to our website for details on the caches! We also offer guided geocaching – learn how to use a GPS and then head out with a guide on your hunt. Guided Geocaching is offered on Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday from 1:30pm-3:30pm.
