Choices include snowmobile tours, snowshoeing, dogsledding, sleigh rides and cross-country skiing... the choice is yours. Contact Guest Services for reservations and information.
GEOCACHING
Experience our high-tech treasure hunt! We offer a variety of caches on-mountain and also around the base area. This activity is FREE for guests who have their own GPS - just visit Guest Services for cache coordinates & information.

Fernie Nature Tours offers unique outdoor experiences. A passion for our surroundings sparks a desire to learn about nature and history. A variety of tours available.
STEEP AND DEEP CAMPS
Join our local coaches for a 2 day adventure to explore Fernie's bottomless powder and steep terrain while improving your all mountain skiing and snowboarding. Clinics for the adventurous advanced-intermediate to expert skiers and snowboarders.
COMPLIMENTARY MOUNTAIN TOURS
Come and discover Fernie Alpine Resort! Our Winter Sports School Pros will show you around the mountain, giving a great introductory tour of the mountain as well as providing you with tidbits of history of Fernie Alpine Resort! Choose from a Lower Mountain Tour or Upper Mountain Tour - last 1.5 hrs and depart at 10:30am and 1:30pm. Register for your free tour at the Winter Sports School Sales Desk (in Guest Services).
DOGSLED TOURS
Discover the thrill of dog power in the beautiful BC Rockies. Hear the history or learn the skills. Tours include professional guides & necessary equipment.
FIRST TRACKS
The Ultimate powder experience! Set the first tracks of the day with this early start program.
SLEIGH RIDES
Enjoy a horse-drawn sleigh ride along a beautiful forested loop trail! Evening rides available between 6-8pm. Rides last 25 minutes.
$14.00 + HST per person. Minimum of 8 and maximum of 12 guests (ages 5 & under are FREE!)
Private Sleigh Rides also available for booking:
$112 + HST for up to 8 guests ($14 + HST per additional guest, up to 12 max)
