To become a "Breast Buddy" you must register and pick up pledge forms at one of the following shops located in downtown Fernie: Edge of The World, Ski Base, Commit Snow & Skate, Straightline, Boardstiff, Guide's Hut, Giv'er Shirtworks or Stephanie's Glass & Art.
The $20 registration fee includes an "I am a Breast Buddy" T-shirt. After registering participants will need to pick up a pledge form and start contacting friends, families, co-workers etc to pledge participants money based on a goal # of runs done over a 2 day period. Participants choose which two days they want to ski/board between Feb. 4th - 6th.

Participants then check in at the Daylodge between 8am and 9am on the first of the two days they choose to hit the slopes. Here they will pick up their t-shirt to wear on mountain and all partipants must sign an event waiver at check in. Please note a season pass or lift tickets are required. Lift tickets are not included in the registration fee but discounted tickets will be available at check in for participants.

There are prizes for particpants that raise the most pledges and a prize ceremony will take place Feb. 12 in the daylodge up at the resort! There are fantastic prizes to be won from a number of amazing sponsors.

Fernie Alpine Resort is making the 3rd installment of the Big Mountain Battle even BIGGER and BETTER with a new course and new categories - advanced and a brand new intermediate course. The intermediate course is a great one for families to take part in!

Entry Fee: $10 (CASH ONLY!) Registration will be done EVENT DAY ONLY. A $20 CASH bib deposit will be required at registration ($20 will be returned at the end of the event when the bib is)

Note: Helmets are MANDATORY and all minors (under 19yrs of age) MUST have a parent or legal guardian sign the waiver forms for the competition IN PERSON at the resort or RCR Head Office in Calgary. (Waivers can be signed ahead of time if a parent or legal guardian is unable to come to registration Sunday morning). Note parents cannot sign for their child's friend so please make appropriate arrangements to have the waivers signed ahead of time if unable to attend registration.
