Fernie Alpine Resort is ready to open for the season with the most snowfall in 34yrs! Daily operations commence this Saturday Dec. 5, 2009. Alpine conditions are fantastic with over a 6ft of settled snow base in the 5 alpine bowls. With more snow in the forecast for the weekend, skiing and snowboarding will be AMAZING at Fernie Alpine Resort!
