A brand new green trail: Ben's Big Rig, which is accessible from the Elk Chair, is a great new addition for the less experienced rider. While new features on Playground and the skills progression park add to the variety and fun-factor that Fernie's Bike Park has to offer.
Maintenance efforts will continue to develop trail integrity and making any improvements where necessary. Says Marc Ledoux, Bike Park Supervisor at Fernie Alpine Resort, "This summer, the crew will focus on our old trails that are in need of some love. Many trails will see small re-routes to better improve the flow and old worn out ladders and stunts will be replaced."
