Calgary, AB – October 22, 2007 – Fernie Alpine Resort is dedicated to helping build the local business community, and providing guests the chance to experience the great offering and variety of Fernie’s businesses. The VIP Experience Fernie program is designed to encourage valued guests to visit businesses in the Fernie area this winter.
The VIP Experience Fernie is a coupon booklet that will be provided to a variety of Fernie guests, including RCR Vacation Package guests, Fernie Alpine Resort Season’s Pass Members, and 3-day and longer lift ticket holders. Each participating business will have their special VIP Experience offer highlighted in the coupon booklet.
Says Jude Hanen, Director of Travel with Resorts of the Canadian Rockies (RCR), “This program does a terrific job of providing more opportunities for our guests to explore, enjoy and shop at many of the fine establishments that the Fernie business community has to offer, while helping drive business for the local community. It’s win-win.”
The coupon booklet is complimentary for qualified guests and season’s pass members, and complimentary for businesses to join. Fernie Alpine Resort expects over 10,000 guests to be tied to this program during the 2007/2008 winter season.
