EVENING SNOWSHOE EXPERIENCE

Immerse yourself in the magic of an evening snowshoe adventure! Join one of our knowledgeable local guides for a late afternoon or early evening loop along Fernie Alpine Resort’s enchanting snowshoe trails amidst serene forests. It's the ideal pre-dinner activity, allowing you to savor the tranquility of nature and work up an appetite for a delightful meal!

Offered every Tuesday night from 4:45pm-6:30pm. Evening tours are available on additional evenings upon request. Please book your Snowshoe Tour at least 48 hours in advance.

2025/26 Price:  $71.00 + taxes (per person)

Program Details:

  • The price includes a guided snowshoe tour and snowshoe rentals.
  • Minimum 2 guests, maximum 6 guests.
  • Snowshoe rentals must be picked up at the FAR Rental Shop by 4:30pm.
  • Meet your guide outside the FAR Rental Shop at 4:45 pm - ready to go!

 

GUIDED GROUP SNOWSHOE TOUR

Let one of our local experienced guides take you for an afternoon loop on one of Fernie Alpine Resort’s snowshoe trails through our beautiful tranquil forests. A perfect activity to share with Friends as part of your trip to Fernie Alpine Resort.

Offered every Wednesday from 1:15pm-3pm. Tours are available on additional days upon request. Please book your Snowshoe Tour at least 48 hours in advance.

2025/26 Price:  $71.00 + taxes (per person)

Program Details:

  • Price includes guided snowshoe tour and snowshoe rentals
  • Minimum 2 guests, maximum 8 guests.
  • Snowshoe rentals must be picked up at the FAR Rental Shop before 1:15 pm.
  • Meet your guide at the WSS Meeting Place at 1:15 pm - ready to go!

PRIVATE SNOWSHOE TOURS

Step into a winter wonderland and experience Fernie’s stunning alpine scenery on a private snowshoe adventure. Led by one of our knowledgeable guides, you’ll explore peaceful forest trails, discover hidden viewpoints, and enjoy the magic of winter at your own pace.

Choose from a Half-Day (3-hour) or Full-Day (5-hour) private experience for up to 3 guests, with the option to add additional participants for a small fee.

Half Day (3-hour):  $199 + tax
Full Day (5-hour) - $299 + tax

Snowshoes can be rented from the Sports Alpine Rental Shop—please pick them up before your start time. Tours depart from the Winter Sports School Meeting Place.

Please book at least 48 hours in advance to ensure guide availability.
