Find out about Fernie Alpine Resort Legendary Griz Bar – Keeping Rippers Ripped Since 1962

This season at Fernie marks the 50th Anniversary of skiing/riding. To commemorate this special year we are hosting a Ski Heritage week, bringing back the “Find the Griz” Contest, and celebrating the opening of the NEW Polar Peak Chairlift.

“Cooler Temperatures, recent large snowstorms and more snow on the way are building excitement for skiing to start soon at Fernie Alpine Resort.  Mountain Operations teams are working hard to prepare the slopes – track packing and ski packing.”

La Niña is predicted to return this season by leading weather service experts at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.  Check out the full story on Powder Matt’s blog.
