In 2004, Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Inc. - Fernie Alpine Resort (RCR) and the Rent Charge property owners endorsed the Fernie Alpine Resort Rent Charge Agreement dated October 2004. Amongst other things, the Agreement called for the establishment of Rent Charge Council comprised of three Rent Charge property owners from Fernie Alpine Resort and two representatives from RCR. The Rent Charge Council approves an annual budget for Rent Charge services.
