Exciting activities and services include: one of the largest lift-accessed bike trail networks in Western Canada, 5 unique alpine hiking trails, scenic chairlift rides with fantastic vista views and delicious mountain-top treats at the Lost Boys Cafe, as well as special events for everyone to enjoy throughout the summer! In addition, Fernie Alpine Resort is a full service, group facility in both summer and winter and the ideal setting for weddings, corporate retreats, and other functions.

With one of the largest lift-accessed trail networks in Western Canada, Fernie Alpine Resort’s variety of 37 bike trails offers something for everyone. Wide machine-made flowing trails for beginner / intermediate riders and challenging steep and technical single track trails for advanced / expert riders.

* NEW! Friday Night Skills Clinics - Brush up on your technical skills with help from our professional coaches. Every Friday from 5 - 7pm. $18 per session (lift ticket not included)

- The ultimate challenge for hard-core climbers - 2100 vertical feet!

Aug 21 - 22 - Full Throttle Mountain Bike Festival
Weekend highlights include: Super D Downhill Race, Dirt Crit Race, Dual Slalom Competition, and Junior Downhill Race. NEW! "Wham Bam Dirt Jump Jam" on Saturday evening, presented by the Fernie Mountain Bike Club.

Scenic Chairlift & Lift Accessed Hiking:

Enjoy a scenic chairlift ride up the mountain followed by a delicious lunch and unforgettable views at the Lost Boys Café. From the top of the chairlift, hikers can explore a variety of spectacular alpine trails, meadows and summits around Fernie Alpine Resort. Join one of our guided hikes and discover the native flora, local wildlife, and fossils that make Fernie their home!
