Fernie, BC - May 10, 2010 - Fernie Alpine Resort is scheduled to open for the summer season on Saturday June 26th. Featuring an amazing lift accessed bike park as well as a variety of hiking and site-seeing from both the Timber Express & Elk Quad Chair that will be operating this summer. Bike camps for women and children from beginner to advanced levels will be available throughout the summer, along with a Thursday night race series for the competitive-type of all ages.

New this year, Fernie Alpine Resort will host NONSTOP Adventure from the UK for their first ever Mountain Bike program in the Canadian Rockies. This 4 week experience will take place from July 26 - August 23 and is aimed at UK travelers with a desire to advance their All Mountain and Downhill biking skills while enjoying an extended holiday in Fernie, BC and the beautiful Canadian Rockies (details attached).
