Fernie Alpine Resort announces early public opening for a special PREVIEW WEEKEND this Saturday Nov 28th & Sunday Nov 29th! With successive storms over the past few weeks and the magical powers of the legendary Griz, snow conditions at Fernie Alpine Resort lend to the earliest resort opening in British Columbia's Kootenay Region of the Canadian Rockies, BC's Powder Highway, and one of the earliest in the resort's history. The announcement to open for a preview weekend, one week prior to the official resort opening on Dec 5, comes with great excitement and anticipation to commence the ski and snowboard season at Fernie Alpine Resort!

Fernie Alpine Resort has plenty of snow to share with all skiers and snowboarders and in the spirit of the exciting news, extends an invitation to ALL RCR SEASON PASS HOLDERS to SKI & RIDE FOR FREE this preview weekend, including both NAKISKA & KIMBERLEY ALPINE RESORT pass holders!

Hours

Fernie Alpine Resort will be open for skiing and snowboarding from 9am - 4pm this weekend (November 28/29). Griz bar and Kelseys will be open for Apres.
