Winter Opening Day 2023 -24

Sharpen your edges, the lifts are about to load!

The staff at Fernie Alpine Resort are excited to welcome you all back! Our opening Day is Saturday, December 2nd, and we can’t wait! We will run the Elk Chair and Timber Chair out of the base. With early season conditions, all available terrain will be intermediate / advanced, with no beginner terrain available. Although there’s some snow in the forecast, and things can change overnight, so watch this space.

Early season conditions exist, so please ski & ride with care.

Sports Alpine Retail Shop: 8:30am – 4:30pm
Rental & Repair Shop: 8:15am – 5pm
Mountain Pantry Grocery Store: 8:30am – 5pm

Restaurants:
Griz Daylodge: 8am – 4:30pm
Griz Bar: 11am – 6pm
Legends Mountain Eatery: 11am – 5pm
Slopeside Coffee & Deli: 8:30am – 2:30pm
Lost Boys Café: 10am – 3:30pm
Cirque Restaurant: 5 – 10pm
