| We have had no new snow in the last 24 hours with 11cm of new snow in the last 72 hours to freshen the whole mounain up! We have great skiing & riding throughout the resort, especially on the upper mountain groomers due to our great cat crew and in our 5 bowls due to our total year to date snowfall of over 5.5 metres! We have all 9 lifts operating on 112 runs, our rail park is open and the cross country trails are groomed & trackset. Snow Conditions are packed powder on the upper mountain and machine groomed runs on the lower mountain.
The forecast for today is Cloudy with a 40% chance of flurries. Moderate or strong winds continuing. High near -1. Tonights forecast is Cloudy with an 80% chance of flurries or snow, light or potentially moderate accumulations. Moderate or strong southwesterly winds may continue. Temperatures remain fairly steady overnight.
Powder 8 Championships - Saturday, March 13, 2010:
Skier's pair up to make perfect figure 8's in untracked POWDER snow. Competitors will be judged on their skiing synchronization, distance spacing and style as well as their track roundness, symmetry and fall line. The event is open to competitors 19 years of age and older.
